Standard Fee
Our standard fee is $125.00 per 50 minute session of couple therapy.
Payment
Fees may be paid at the time service is provided or in response to a written statement. Clients who have an outstanding balance will be billed monthly and expected to pay upon receipt. Statements are in a form which includes the basic information about your therapy which most insurance companies require so you may use them in support of an insurance claim. You should be aware, however, that most health insurance companies do not reimburse for couple therapy. Payment can be made directly to the therapist by cash or check. Checks should be made out to the individual therapist and may be mailed to the therapist’s office.
Missed Appointment Charge
Your appointment times are reserved for you alone. If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please do so by voice mail at least one full business day in advance of the session. We have a very busy practice. If we can use the time for someone else, we will not charge you. Otherwise, you will be charged a cancellation/no show fee equal to the full fee for the session missed.
Telephone Consultation
Most telephone contacts are brief and are used for arranging appointments. Occasionally, in emergencies or due to extended absences, a more lengthy consultation is necessary to address issues that would normally be dealt with in a therapy session. Our charge for this time is prorated at the same rate as in-office therapy.
